This was a great time for the band to bring in their ideas and creative input into the recording. I only wish we had a 12 hour session. Time sure does fly when you’re working and having fun. We’re due to have a finished product by late January. Online and available at our live shows. CD release announcements in 2012. Thanks everyone for your patience. Adrian the Villan is doing such a great job. He’s worth more than what we presented him. Horns up! -Mars

The Dungeon Studios:

Hey everybody. My drum tracks are coming along quite nicely. I wanted to thank Adrian Villanueva for the great job he’s doing in getting my drum sound where it belongs. Heavy, punchy and brutal. We did several takes of course, but that’s how it works. Technology now days can only work for the better. Horns up Adrian.

We began the session last weekend on the 4th of March onto the 6th. All drum tracks with two guitar scratch tracks to guide me through the tunes. We’ve done a total of 11 songs. I’ll complete my drumming duties this Saturday before we start with guitar sounds.

Thanks to Jackie, Jeanie and Big Rob for stopping by the past few days. Also Adrians brothers for saying hi. Great seeing them. Next up will be a few touch ups on the drum tracks with a punch in or two. Then, we’ll gear up the guitar sounds for their perspective tracks. This project will last well into the Summer.

Everyone, please hold on to your drinks. We’re going to do this right. Hang in there.

New drum hardware set for the studio March 4th

Gearing up for the next recording set for March 4th, 2011 with my DEMON SERIES drums from DIXON. I have recently upgraded my drum kit with a rack like no other. Gibraltar rack mount system with Stealth snare drum extension.

I’m super excited to record with these Dixon Drums at The Dungeon Studios in Los Angeles, Ca. with Demolition. Adrian Villanueva producing and engineering this project that has been long over due. This recording will mean a lot to a lot of us, not only the band but, also the loyal friends and fans throughout.
Stay tuned for more info as we get closer and closer to the recording sessions. All of it will be covered and we’ll bring you updates. Horns up for now. -Mars and the band
